If you enter the Google search window "Slime poisonous", you get 679,000 results on this topic. Before we started with slimeslime.de, we naturally also read these entries in part and were a little offset at first. Why should someone buy slime when it is so toxic? Why should we sell slime when it is poisonous? I have long considered writing this blog article because it actually reports "negatively" about our product area. But I find it important to understand why so much negative is written about slime.
The "controvers" substance in the slime is borax. In order to maintain the consistency in the mucus, this is required. Borax is also included in the DIY-Slime, because contact lens solution is usually used for the production, which is included. According to the law, no more than 300 milligrams per kilogram may be released. The Slime products, which were checked by Stiftung Warentest, among other things, contained more than triple borax than allowed. Most of the time, these were imported slimes that did not maintain the specified guideline.
What is Borax?
It is a naturally occurring mineral that is broken down and processed into various boron compounds. The main deposits are in Turkey and California. Thanks to our food, we consume up to 1.5 mg boron every day. Most of the mineral water, an average of 0.75 mg per liter. Our base lime are tested by Intertek Consumer Goods GmbH and contains really very, very small amounts of borax. The limit is 1200 mg/kg (according to the law). Our test is 190 mg/kg. I write this because we want to be transparent in order to take the fears or uncertainty in particular when buying our slimes. So we assure you that our slimes cannot cause any health damage. vielen Dank für dein Kommentar. Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Slime und Slime Rezepten. Meistens jedoch besteht Slime aus Kleber und Borax. Durch das Borax wird eine Chemische Reaktion hervorgerufen wodurch der flüssige Kleber zu Slime wird. Enthalten ist meistens noch Wasser, Öle, Farbe und Düfte. Es kommt dann noch drauf an was für eine Art Slime es ist z.B ist bei einem Cloud Slime noch Instand Snow enthalten. Guten Tag mein Kind liebt es mit slime zu spielen daher habe ich mich versucht im Internet zu erkundigen und bin auf Borax gestoßen das hat mich erst Mal abgeschreckt aber die noch größere Abschreckung finde ich das man nirgendwo finden kann woraus nun der slime besteht man findet im Internet zahlreiche dye’s zum selber machen aber man findet nichts darüber was alles im gekauften slime drin ist abgesehen von Borax auch nicht auf den Verpackungen die wir von zuru Zuhause haben dort steht auch nichts drauf ich fände es echt toll wenn ein Hersteller auch mal offen legt woraus der slime überhaupt besteht damit man beruhigter ist beim Kauf solcher Artikel .
